Eleos speaks of mercy, compassion, and kindness toward someone in need. It is not cold religious tolerance.

Luke 8:48
And he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.’
Sozo is often translated “save,” but can also carry rescue, healing, deliverance, or being made well, depending on context. Salvation in Scripture is not thin.

Metamorphoō is an inner becoming — a change of form that begins with the renewal of the mind.

Hineni is more than location. It is availability — the posture of a person addressed by God who answers with presence and surrender.

Antidikos is a legal word: an opponent in a lawsuit, an accuser.

Topos means a place, space, or opportunity. Unresolved anger and untruth can become a foothold.

Tam speaks of integrity and completeness. Yashar speaks of being straight and upright.

Sur means to turn aside, depart, or remove. An altar life is not only encounter. It is response.

Patēr reminds us that prayer begins in relationship. The first word of the prayer locates us.

Philos speaks of friendship and beloved companionship. Servants wait for orders. Friends are brought near.
